10 years of myHSA
I find myself contemplating the type of individuals who would establish a business centered around Health Spending Accounts (HSAs). Back in 2013, myHSA made its first sale of an online spending account. It marked a pivotal moment for the business and us as founders.
I do love trying to have fun at the end of the year to see what I think may change or be upcoming for the new year, but like usual in the benefits industry, I think that in many ways it will be status quo. This may not be a bad thing though, as the status quo may have big opportunity and have a great impact on employees.

Positioning a myFlexplan: Empowering Employees with Choice
It’s not uncommon for advisors to tell me that the client “just wants an HSA for now, they don’t want to overcomplicate things for them or the employees with more options.” I get the sense that the advisor is actually not comfortable with the plan and how it operates and would rather stick to what they know. So, let’s bring everyone up to speed!
